Are dogs better mountain bikers than humans?
When asking Dwight if the dogs ever impede him and his other buddies on the trail, he said that it does not happen often. “They flow with me,” and “They can do features that I have to walk,” he muses. In fact, Hunter and Sky sense the riding conditions based on the sounds of Dwight’s bike, his speed, and his body language.
Diversity in Bikes
“Our employees and managers ride our bikes everywhere. We commute and recreate on all surfaces and we love all cycling experiences and adventures.”
Hidden Treasures
The world is filled with geocache adventures—more than can be accomplished in one lifetime. When Danny and Lesley are looking for a bike adventure, they can just scroll the map to look for more locations.
Summer Fun (Part 1)
Highland’s Summer Ride program offers instruction for kids from 8-13 at multiple different skill levels and offers daily drop-off and overnight options.
Leave It Better Than You Found It
At the BICYCLE WORKSHOP, we got behind Palisades MTB (PMTB) and became the driving force with the organization to move the ball forward. Sterling Forest State Park was the first project for which PMTB found traction and immediately the shop dedicated resources to getting trails built.
Can you remember your very first cycling experience?
It’s incredible how indelible memories from childhood can impact life’s decisions.
Bikes, Friends, and Adventures
At the WORKSHOP, we pride ourselves in the statement on our webpage that states, “WE DO MORE THAN JUST SELL BIKES”. In our spare time, we ride them and find new adventures on our bikes.
